Welcome to Te Toka Tumai Auckland Interpreting and Translation Services (ITS)
Established in 1999, the Te Toka Tumai Auckland ITS have always been committed to providing a quality and timely service in both spoken and written form. We provide interpreters for over 70 languages (including New Zealand Sign Language) as well as document translations. We work with a pool of professionally trained and certified interpreters and translators to ensure the best quality of service.
How to use this site
We provide the following services:

Telephone Interpreting - TINT
This service provides you with an interpreter to assist with communication via telephone. We can connect up to 6 people in a conference call. This can also be used if the client(s) is present while the interpreting is conducted over speaker-phone.

Site Interpreting (Face to Face) - SINT
This service is for an interpreter to be present at your meeting/consultation to assist with communication between yourself and your client(s).

Video Interpreting - VINT
This service provides you with an interpreter to assist with communication via video chat. This is usually conducted through Zoom, but we can use other portals as well.

Appointment Confirmation - APC
This service provides you with an interpreter to phone the client to confirm, cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Telephone Assignment - TA
This service provides you with an interpreter to make a phone call to a client on your behalf. This is particularly useful for reminding patients to take their medications or a follow-up phone call after a procedure etc.

Sign Language
We provide a 24/7 service for the Deaf Community. Select Sign Language as the "Language" option.

Document Translations
This service provides you with a qualified translation of written information e.g. brochures, reports, letters etc. We will present you with a quote and the translation will only commence once your agreement is obtained.
